An inspiration for this exhibit was an exhibition of the Haunted Museum in Prague. During my visit, I was very impressed by the design of the ghost exhibit, which emerged from the wall holding a candle. I thought of combining the theme of passing through walls with a work of the monk Adalbert Eder from the Bavarian monastery Waldsassen.
In this case, the saint steps out of the painting and becomes alive. In his hand, he holds his heart, which is decorated with flames made of metallic foil and metallic threads.
