CHALICE

The chalice for the Christian liturgy is a vessel for the holy substance. It is the wine that is changed into the blood of Christ. Since it is a cup that comes into direct contact with the holy substance, it should be made of precious materials.

This chalice is heavily coated with a gold imitation sheet. The sky-blue stones and the decorations with gold leaves are quite predominant. The imitation of Czech grenades, which resemble blood in color, draws attention to the significance of the chalice and the transformation of the wine into the blood of Christ.
