BEDŘICH

This exhibit was inspired by the works of the monk Adalbert Eder from the Bavarian monastery of Waldsassen, specifically the reliquary with the relics of St. Vitalian, which is dressed in Baroque-style Roman armor. It is a complete skeleton that stands in a display reliquary on one of the side altars in the monastery basilica. This is the first exhibit I have created and its completion took 1,200 hours. I didn't want to decorate the whole body, so I chose to create only a torso.
